THE EDUCATION BOARD
# The monthly meeting of tho Education Board was held yesterday. There were present tho Hon. J. G. W. Aitken (chairman), Messrs. A. W. Ilogg, E. H. Penney, It. M'Oallum, T. Forsyth, It. A. Wright, T. Moss, 15. P. llislnvorth, G. London.'AY. H. Field, and 11. Kebbell. A letter was received from tho Prime Minister stating that he was just now unable to meet a deputation re AVellington Technical School. It was decided to ask tho Prime Minister to fix a date for the deputation. Resignations were accepted as follow -r—Miss 11. M. Harnett, sole teacher, Sanders Road, January 31; Mr. A. F. Muir, pupil teacher, Featherston, January 31; Miss E. M. Russell, probationer South Wellington, January 31; Miss D. E. Welch, probationer, Featherston; Mrs. Godsiff, sole teacher, Manaroa- aided . school, January 31; Miss Woodhouso, sole tcacher, Patuki aided school, January 31; Mrs. Kassy, sole teacher, French Pass aided school, January 31.
