CANADIAN GOVERNMENT STEAMER LOST
ABANDONED IN A STORM. Ottawa, December 9. The Government steamer Simcoe was abandoned in a Btorm off Magdalen Island. The crew of forty-six took to tho boats, but it is believed they wero drowned.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Asbu.
