A case was opened at the Supremai Court to-day, in which Minnie Ogilvio, of Auckland, sues Fred Hall, proprietor of the Masonic Hotel, . and Eva Parker, licensee, for £2000 damages;, in respect to tho death of plaintiff a husband, who, when employed at tho hotel, fell from a backstair landing; and died as a result of Plaintiff alleges t that tho landing in question, was neither fenced nor lighted. The case will bo continued to-morrow.
