The New Zoaland Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At Himatangi, on Monday, we had a heavy yardmg of cattle, which met with iair competition—the vendors meeting the market, with the result that a very good clearance waa effected. Light fat ewes, 25a. 3d.; weanors, 295. to £2; eoall yearling htifers, £3 17s. to £4 6d.; yearling steers, £6; 15-monlhs heifers, ~-65; 28-months steers, £8 15s. to £8 175.; light store cows, £5 12s. to £6 2s. 6d.j fresh cows, £7 2s. 6d. to £5 155.; light fat cove,- £9 sb. to £9 160.j small cows with calves, £5 12s. 6d. to £6 55.; springing cows, SI 10s.; springing heifers, £8 6a. Messrs. Dalgety and Coispany, Limited, report having offered fair yarding of sheep and 'cattle at Waikanae on Thursday, when, a total clearance was effected at following prices :—Shorn ewes, 225. 6cl. to 255. 6d.; two-tooth wethers and ewes. 225. 6d. in ,245.; 4 and 6-tooth wethers,to2Bs.
