Tho one case heard was' against John Egan, who was fined £10. "Mr. 1 ,1 . Pope, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, states that, contrary to the report published, the Department did not appeal to the Military Service, Board to exempt Harry B. Murphy from- service. Mr. Murphy appealed oil his own-behalf.' ;
