Health of Women and Children. The monthly meeting of the Royal New Zealand Society for tho Health ot Women, and Children was held on Thursday in tho rooms, 3 Courtenay Place. Thero were present: Airs. Masscy (in tho chair), Mesdames Nathan, Chapman, Corrigan, W. Luke, C M. Luke, M'Vicar, J. Tnpo, Earlo, D Ewen, Burch, Ward, Anderson, Richardson, and Misses, Cablo and Bartiett. Apologies were received from Mesdaraes Russell, Barclay, Tythe, Brown, Misses Inghs, Buoy, and Kirkcaldie. Correspondence was read, and accounts passed for payment. Tho nurses' report was most satisfactory, and showed visits to homes 388, visits to rooms 530,. and new cases 73. Letters of appreciation of tho baby week campaign were received also "several from war relict cases for gifts of clothes. Sowing bees havo been held regularly, and during this year 902 garments bavo been made and distributed locally.. Tho Hutt and Petono branch reported visits to homes 342, visits to rooms 106, babies 126. Their Sewing Guild sent to England six complete sets of baby clothes; also received from Hutt Mam School thirty garments, and Petone Main School forty garments, all beautifully made. ■ The lion, treasurer gratefully acknowledges from the War Relief Association £5 for material to he made up into garments and returned, also donations from—Mrs. Millikin, £1; Mrs.'Robinson £2 25.; Mrs. Keeling, £1; Mrs. dimming £1 la.; Mrs. Tingey, 10s.; Mrs. Denton, 55.; bos in rooms; hi ss.
