Featherstoii Camp tTie same spirit was shown and gymnasiums were extemporised. Since tiien, in moro than one of tho institutes in the camp, a certain amount of ■ scopo in this direction has been aftord- > c<l. Possibly tho moro extensive ■ scheme of physical training recently in- > troduced vatl'i tho syllabus has quicken- • ed the desiro for gym. work. At any 1 rate, gymnasium classes liavo been . formed at both camps, in which large , numbers of men take part every night, ; apparently with groat enjoyment. The , work is done under tho direction of the physical training staff. At present ) tho exercises aro carried out m one of s tho institutes, which has been specially - tltted, but there is n possibility; at - Foatherston Camp, of a fully-equipped , modern gymnasium being donated.
