ALLEGED THEFT OF TRUST MONEYS

M'Donald, until recently practising as a solicitor, was committed for trial on charges of tho theft of £136 and of wrongfully converting to his own use £308, botli trust moneys. Accused pleaded note guilty, and reserved his defence. A further charge, involving the sum of £1042, will bo heard to-morrow week.
