-<V- ' The Magistrate's Court was conducted by llr. S. K. M'Carthy, S..M. Walter Turner was remanded for a week on charges of insobriety and theft. Leonard Augustus Monsley was sentenced to three months' imprisonment for stealing £2 from a room mate. William H. Gardinor was committed, for trial on a chargo of his having indecently assaulted a little girl in tlio Basin Reserve. Ho pleaded not guilty to the 'charge. John Perry Jones was remanded for a week on a charge of attempting to commit arson. . , Frank Gordon Jansen was convicted and discharged 011 a charge of the theft of a bag containing food. Also 1m was prohibited for one year.
