Further particulars of the interview accorded to tho "Nieuo Freie Presse" by von Hindonburg show that he also admitted that both tho British and French were /brave, but that tho French were tho cleverer. _ "The strength of tho British lies in tlioir numerical superiority in artillery. There aro able men amongst the French generals. The British generals aro learned in entirely different warfare to European and trench warfare.
