FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT
By Telegraph—Press Association. Taumarunui, December 5. A fatal accident occurred last evening on tile Upper Oliura Road, Onganie. Miss Ethel l'rice had driven to the railway iu a gig with her sister, lUrs. Alex. Marsh and the latter s infant daughter. Mrs. Slarsli was on tier waj to Taumarunui Hospital to undergo an operation. When Miss Price and the infant were returning the hor&o si ed at a papa slip, and the gig rolled down a bank 45 feet deep. Jhe infant whs killed, and Miss l'nce was b dly injured. She was removed by thein iglit express to Taumarunui. , . An inquest was opened to-day on the chlld was adjourned for the evidenco of Jliss l'rice. _____
