The Christmas traffic on trains and steamers promises to be greater than ovov this rear. The sending of some 6000 soldiers at present 111 camp to their homes'on Christmas leave will be an important , item of transportation, but tlie majority of them will be carried by special steamers and trams. There will, however, bo a strong, smattering of khaki among the Christmas travellers bv the Tegular services, lnSK members of the various in. - tary staffs at Headquarters and in the Cil Larw numbers of women and girls from all parts of the Dominion have employment in military < Dffiees m lington.
