Tho Clara Rogers Comforts Fund. "Flower Day" in aid of the Clara. Refers Comforts Fund is to he held in Wellington to-day, and pedestrians in tho streets will have the opportunity of buying sweets, flowers, produce, badges, and buttonholes for a good cause—that of helping to provide comforts for our convalescent soldiers in hospital at Home, and also in providing them with outings, that do much to distract their minds from their sufferings, and also from the memory of the scenes and trials through which they had recently passed. Many letters have been received in which soldiers have expressed the greatest appreciation of this work, and from time to time Miss Rogers has given an account of her stewardship, as regards tho disposal of the funds that have been sent to her with this end in view.
