WHEAT SUPPLIES
CARGOES FROM AUSTRALIA". 'A caT"o of the wheat purchased by the New Zealand Government in Australia has recently arrived for distribution in Dunedin and Oamaru. The Minister in charge of the Mmness, the Hon. W. D. S. MacDonnld, stated yesterday that he hoped that there would be three cargoes of this wheat on this coast by the end of December, and he thought that the arrival of this quantity of wheat would relieve any anxiety that might be felt about the supples of wheat and flour to s.itisfv the immediate requirements of the Dominion. In not very many weeks after the end of December the new croo will be coming in, and the Beard of Trade is at present arranging for the purchase of wheat grown m this conntry in this summer.
