FIRE AT PETROLEUM WORKS
By Telegraph-Press Association. New Plymouth, Novomber 30. A fire occurred at the Taranaki Petroleum Company's worls this morning, resulting in tho destruction of No. 2 derrick and a quantity of tools. 'While working a great blowout of gas occurred, and became ignitcfi at the boiler fire. The other adjoining buildings were saved. Tho damage is fully covered by insurance.
