THE CHAMPION AWARDS, By Telegraph-Press i , Auckland, November 30. . The Auckland Show, opened in excellent weather. Light horses are.a feature of the show. Draught horses are less in number than usual, but are of high quality. Sheep are fewer than usual, except in the fat classes, ( , which were good. Romneys were , fairly well represented. Tho cattle were exceptionally good, particularly milking Shorthorns, Frcisians, and fat cattle. The principal awards were:— Draught Horses—Entire: Dilwortn School of Agriculture's Dilworth King of Abbotsford, champion; reserve champion: A. E. Harding's Dacotah. Mare: Dilworth School of Agriculture s Flora of Ury Park, champion; reserve ■"thimpion mare: Dilworth School of Agriculture's Lady Marcellus. ] Awards'in the pedigree cattle classes were: — , Shorthorns.—Reserve champion— , Bull: Woodward Brothers' Springleigh 1 Duke X; cow: Woodward Brothers' Springleigh Esta. _ •' ' Milking Shorthorns.-Bull: H.
