POLICE CASES Mr. S. E. M'Carthy, S.M., dealt with tho polico business in the Alagistrate's Court yesterday. For insobriety, Isa Leo was fined £3; Alice d'Beere was sent to the Salvation Army Homo for six months; Wni.. Charles Harvey was sentenced to three months' imprisonment; andPetor M'Carron was remanded for a week.
James M'Guire and Jai..es Oliver Armstrong were- each sentenced to threo months' imprisonment for having stolon a sack of potatoes belonging to W. J. A. Grant. Archibald Huntor was remanded till Monday on a charge of his being idlo and disorderly. On a charge of. being a rogue ana vagabond, William Irwin Black was remanded till Monday. Five charges of having stolen overcoats wore preferred against Gco. \\. Dinester. " Hβ' was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, afterwards to undergo reformative treatment. Frank Myors was sentenced to six months' imprisonment on being conviotcd of obscene exposure on the Hallway Wharf. .■.-■■• . . A: remand till Monday was made in the case of George Bazan, who was accused of being idle and disorderly.

In a judgment summons case, Simeon 'Maokecknie was ordered to pay Caroline Craig the sum of £16 13s. 4d., by instalments of £1 7s. per month. In the case of Edward E. Brown against Andrew Gibson Taylor, judgment was given for plaintiff for possession of a tenement, with costs il
