BRITISH RAILWAYMEN "GO SLOW"
NEGOTIATIONS WITH GOVERNMENT BREAK DOWN. London, November 28. Negotiations between the Government and the Railwaymen's Union have broken down. The railwaymen demand a 10s. weekly increase, and the Government offers ss. Mr. Thomas, M.P. (secretary of the Railway Servants' Society) states that the Government will refuse to reopen negotiations while the men at Liverpool are deliberately going slow.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rec.
