It is estimated that the United States Emergency Beet Corporation has contraded for tho construction of about 600 ships so far, 'the first of which will be in commission early nert Bpring. In addition, the Shipping; Board contemplates takinc over about 1500 vessels now in commission in the Transatlantic trade, and probably 300 sMps from the coastwise and other trades Will be diverted to the Atlantic routes.
