The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:-At Kangiuln, on Monday, a fair entry of catt'o sold at late rates. Quotations:—Store cows, £6. 10s. to £7 165.; forward cows, £8 to £8 155.; light fat cows, £10 to £11 5t.; heifers in calf £7 17s. 6d., £8; cowe in milk, £10 10s. to £14; yearling etecrs, £7 165.; bulls, £7 10s., £7 12s. 6d., £10 155., £13.
Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and 00., Ltd., report:—At Weber, on Monday, we offered a good yarding of cattle to a very small attendance. There was practically no demand for grown cattle, but yearlings sold at good values. Sales were made an follow:—Yearling steers, £4 10s. to £6 5a.; yearling heifers, £4; old cows with calves. £7 10s.; Holstein yearling bull, £6 10s. JTesers. Wright, Stopheneon and Co., Ltd., report on their Pahiatua. sale, held on Tuesday:—A good yarding was 6ubmitt«d to a small attendance of buyers. There was uo inquiry for cattle, and only one pen of ieifere was sold. Sales effected were:—Ewes and lambs, 395.; cull ram, 12a. 6d.; ift-months heifers, £6.
