ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS

ANNUAL MEETING OF SOCIETY,

The fifteenth annual meeting of tho Wellington Accountant Students' Society was held last evening. The president, Mr. E. W. Hunt, occupied the chair.

The roll of membership showed a docrease of twelve for the year. Tho average attendance at meetings during the year was 23 members. So far no applications had been received from returned soldiers for membership on t]ie terms outlined in the last annual report. The income and expenditure- account far tho year showed a surplus of 3s. 6d. The accumulated fund stood at £42 3s. 5d., and the library fund at £45 13s. 2d. - ■ ■

Tho following officers were elected :— President, Mr. E. W. Hunt; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs. J. L. Arcus, J. S. Barton, A. T. Clarke, H. A. Gold, and \V. B. Hudson; committee, Messrs. F. A. d' E. Barclay, C. M. Bowden, C. AV. Armstrong, H. W. Edwards, H. H. Miller, and A. J. M'Lennan: lion, auditor, Mr. H. K. Douglas; lion, treasurer, Mr. J. L. Griffin; hon. secretary, Mr. F. H. Bass.
