SOFT GOODS TRADE DISPUTE

When the soft goods dispute was resumed by the Conciliation Commissioner this morning, Mr. Giles said that on further consideration, as he had refused to accopt the petition against the union's registration, he could not take evidence now on behalf of ..tho union, except such evidence as would not be available when the case came before the Arbitration Court in March. Counsel for the union said that under the circumstances he would not tender any evidence, but would consult the Minister of Labour on the question raised. .
