FIRE AT FAIRLIE
COTTAGE ON WORKERS' SETTLEMENT DESTROYED. By Tekeraoli—Press Association. Timaru, November 23. A fire destroyed a cottage on the workers' settlement at Fairlie this everiinc, occupied by W. Roundhill, a poultry-breeder. The firo, which started in tho incubator room in the houso, had a good hold before it was observed. Me Raundhill was away. His wife and children just escaped. Nothing was saved.
