BUILDING UP IMPERIAL TRADE
TRADE COMMISSIONERS TO BE APPOINTED. (Roc. November 23, 8.50 p.m.) London, November 22. Tho report of the committee appointed in 1913 to advise the Board of Trade on tho work of the Commercial Intelligence Branch states that it has been decided to- appoint three Trade Commissioners for Canada, two each for Australia, South Africa, and India, and onei each for Now Zealand, tho Straits Settlements, and the West Indies. Other posts will bo created as opportunity arises. Tho scheme generally agrees with the recommendations of the Dominions Roy.il Commission. The Treasury has sanctioned tl;o immediate inception of tho schemo.— Router.
