FIRE AT HAWERA
FURNITURE WAREHOUSE DAMAGED. Ey Telegraph—Press Association. Hawera, November 22. ' Pratt and Co.'s furniture warehouse was damaged by fire early last evening. A high wind prevailed at the time, and the brigade did excellent work in confining the outbreak to a timber room at the back of the premises. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The building was insured for £400 in the Guardian" Office, and the stock for £1500 in the Commercial Union.
