In February last the British Admiraltj began tho issue of weekly statements showing the losses of British ships caused by Germany's submarine campaign. November 22, 10.30 p.m.) London, November 21. Tho French report ou the week's shipping losses from submarine attacks states that the arrivals' totalled 948, ! the departures 961. Two vesesls over 1600 tons were sunk, and four unsuccessfully attacked.] ITALIAN LOSSES. (Rec. November 22, 10.30 p.m.) London, November 21. Ah Italian official report states that there were 332 arrivals arid 300 departures during the week. Onesteamer over 1500 tons was sunk; another was damaged, and towed to port, —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Reuter. [Tho Italian arrivals last week totalled 384, and the sailings 333. One sailing ship of over a hundred tons wafe sunk.] i BRITISH PATROL VESSEL TOR- • PEDOED. (Rec. November 22, 11.15 p.m.) London, November 21. The Admiralty reports that a submarine torpedoed a British patrol vessel in tho Mediterranean on Sunday. Four officers and five men were killed.—Aus.N.Z.
