Present indications are for strong but decreasing southerly winds northwards of Farewell Spit anil Kailiouro, but freshening east to northerly winds elsewhere. Weather changeable and showcry in tho East Coast of tho North Island, but expect increasing cloudincsß i and somewhat warmer weathor elsewhere. Tho barometer has n rising tondency, but will probably fall cvorywliero after twenty-four hours. A cyclonic disturbance passed in the north during tho night, and south-easterly .winds, eirobg to sale, have ruled northwards of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura.
