MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD RIFLE CLUB. A highly interesting teams' competition was brought to a conclusion on Tuesday evening. The occasion was tho shoot off between tho club captain and vice-captain's teams, who tied for tho competition, Vice-Captain Grant's team winning somewhat easily by 15 points, but tho shooting was interesting and keen throughout. The winning team averaged 91. After the match a pleasant evening was spent, and the club captain, Mr. G. M. Russell, distributed the prizes won during tho competition. Mr. W. Grant took tho prize for tho winning team, and the following, trophies were won:—L: P. AVrigley, highest aggregate, Pros. H. E. Nicholls's trophy; AV. Garvis, handicap aggrcgato, Vice-Pres. Marshbanks's trophy; weekly trophies (presented by tho club), S. Sundorland, 11. Neilson, A. G. Edwards, A. Vine, G. AV. Russell, W. Garvis, and H. Prince.
