THE SEA FIGHT OFF HELIGOLAND
USUAL FLIGHT OF THE ENEMY CHASED INTO THEIR MINEFIELD London, November 18. Tho Admiralty reports: "There is no further information about the Heligoland Bight operations beyond tho fact that the enemy's light cruisers were chased to within thirty miles of Helgoland, until they wero under the protection of tho battle fleet and tho minefields, when wo retired. An onemy light cruiser was seen on fire. Tho machinery of unother appeared to bo damaged. An enemy minesweeper was sunk. We had no losses, and only slight damage to tho ships. A German naval communique states: "Strong British naval forces attempted to break into the German Bight (Heligoland Bight) on tho morning of November 17.
