Now York, November 18. The Shipping Board is considering Mr, Edison's scheme for installing engines in 5380 sailing vessels, giving an aggregate of 1,700,000 tone. Vessels so con* verted will havo a speed of twelve knots, and will be used in tho submarine zone, —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
