The' petitioner also-'mado -allegations concerning Hyams's health. His Honour granted. a decree nisi, and' gave the jDOtitioner, who ; was represented by Mr. 1 !*. W. Jackson, the custody of tho two children of tho marriage. Drunkenness on the part of the respondent was the groaud of Jessie Eoddan's petition for a. divorce. from John Roddan. The petitioner said that she was married in 1887. The respondent was an habitual drunkard, and had on several occasions been convicted of insobriety by- a Magistrate. He illtreated the petitioner when he was under tho influence of liquor. Mr. P. W. Jackson appeared for the petitioner. His Honour granted ft decree nisi. Walter Alfred Bowater alleged that his wife, Lydia Ann Bowater, had committed adultery -with her second cousin, Cecil Bowater. The respondent and the petitioner had formerly lived together in Petono and. Brooklyn/ and three months beforo the, respondent went away with the co-respondent her children told the petitioner that sho was misconducting herself. A decree nisi was made, and the co-respondent was ordered to pay costs. Mr. P. W. Jackson appeared in support of the petition. Adelaide Jane Tottey (Mr. P. W.Jackson) was granted a decree, nisi against her husband, Frederick Tottey, ,who had deserted her; and had failed to. maintain her during the'past five years. The petitioner was granted custody of the one child of the marriage.
