GREECE'S FAITH IN' ULTIMATE VICTORY. (Roc. November 18, 5.5 p.m.) London, November 17. If Venizelos had an enthusiastic reception at tho Mansion House, meeting Mr Balfour, Lord Curzon, mid Mr. Churchill, who paid a tribute to M. Vonlrelos's fight for the Allied cause, and tor freedom. . , . IT Venizelos, replying,, said the great majority of Greeks disapproved of exirinc Constantino's treachorons policy. No British check would alter the faith of Greeco in ultimate victory. If his policy, which the Crown had set aside, had been carried out, tho occupation of Gallipon would have been accomplished in a week. The moral effect on Constantinople would have been such that a separate poaco with Turkey would have resulted, and the straits been opened to the Allies, enabling tliem to equip Russia, whoso 1915 defeat would thus liavo been avoided. Bulgaria would not have dared to move against the Entente, and pcaco might have been sccnrod—Rente".
