His Honour tho Chief Justice, Sir Robert Stout, granted probato in tho estate of tho late Hon. John Davis Ormond, of Napier, on November 13. Tho estato has been certified for probate purposes at under .£450,000. By his will the late Mr. Ormond leaves all his money and estates to the members of his own family. The Ormond residence. "Tintagol," Napier, is left to his daughter Eanny Ormond, deceased's •widow to havo life residenco in it, free of all charge or rent. Hannah Ormond, widow of the deceased, iB left an annuity of .21500 fres of all death dutleß. George Canning Ormond and John Davis Ormond aro each loft five stud mares ana three racehorses, the remawder of the stud, draught horses, and thoroughbreds to be sold by auction.
