Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., roport:-iU our cattle fair hold at Levin on Tuesday last we had a record entry of cattle, some 2000 heud borne yarded in all. Buyers wore present in largo numbors from surrounding districts, and lrom Wanganui, Jfasterton, Palinerston, ana Pahautanni. With the excoptlon of male cattle (grown), for which there was only a very limited inquiry, most other linos met with good competition, anfi in tho case of young cattle the demand was keen.
