Welch (returned unopposed). Wereroa Riding. W. Howell (returned unopposed). Wainui-o-Mata Biding . Patrick Kavanagh (returned unopposed) Representative on Hospital Board. Angus John M'Ciudy was elected ■unopposed, in place of W. Galloway, resigned. , MAKARA RIDING: Porirua Riding (Four Seats). Haggerty, John Herbert 158 Windley, Ernest 158 Taylor, Alfred John 156 Bryant, Stephen Ida • Pressor, David 142 Greor,. Francis Herbert 55 There is to be a.recount on Friday, and as the voting is (lose tkj result here appears to be in doubt. Messrs. Haggerty, Taylor, and Bryant are old members of the council. Mr. Windley is a new member. The polling was light in Wellington Mr. Prosser got a heavy vote at Porirua. , Makara Siding (Two Seats). Bowler, Samuel (returned unopposed). Cook, Walter Edmund (returned unopposed). • Representative on Hospital Board. Moore, F. T. (returned unopposed). WAIRARAPA SOUTH. (By Telegrauh— Snectal Correspondent.) Carterton, November U. The Wairarapa South County Council election resulted as under:— Parkvale Biding.—William Perry, 85; George Edward Allen, 79. . Maungariki Riding—John Strang, 126; Duncan M'Gregor, 120; Archibald Charles Cameron, 117; Malcolm John M'Gregor, 110; George James Foreman, 39. Mr. Perry was elected for Parkvale, and the first four in the Maungariki Riding, all being retiring councillors. ■ OPAKI RIDING. (By Toloeraph—Special OorresDondenU Masterton, November 14.
