PROTESTANT POLITICAL ASSOCIATION
BRANCH FORMED AT PETONE.
A meeting of citizens was held in Petone last evening for the purpose oi farming a branch of the Protestant Political Association. The proceedings opened with the National Anthem. Tho Do- ■ minion secretary, Sir. H. Sydney Bilby, , the objects of the association, and the meeting decided to form themselves into a committee for the purposf (it enrolling members and mnkhip; the necessary arrangements for a public meeting, to bo-held early in December, The necessary officers were appointed. A very hearty vote of thanks waspassed tc the Dominion secretary. for his attendance.
