BOARD OF TRADE TO ADMINISTER IT.

When the Minister of Agriculture was in Christchurch recently conferring with the producers and others interested in wheat production, ho announced particulars of a scheme by which the Government would" buy the whole of the next season's crop and undertake the distribution of it. He announced that a controller would be appointed to do the work for the Government. Cabinet deoided yesterday that this.work should be dono by t)ie Board of Trade. It will therefore not be necessary to make a special appointment of an individual controller.
