HOT WATER ALT, DAY AND FOR EVERY -PURPOSE. The principle of the "Challenge" Steam Boiler and Water-heater at once appeals to one as exceedingly simple and effective. The whole plant is built ou the basis of utilising all the heat which, under ordinary circumstances, is simply wasted. It is claimed, in fact, and there seems no reason to doubt it, that the "Challenge" is positively the quickest hot water system in the world. Ten minutes after lighting the fire the twelve gallons of water in the tank have readied boiling point, and by a peculiar and clover adaptation of ideas the water iB kept at boiling point. There is really no end to the uses of the "Challenge," so much so that it has been universally adopted in Australia, and is in use in private homes, hotels, institutions, and farmhouses—in fact, everywhere where a. luotwater system is needed. The "Challenge" is wonderfully inexpensive, and having a multitude of uses its convenience and utility simply cannot be over-esti-mated. Its uses are universal, including a patent dish-washer, clothes-washing machines, and cooking by steam. Plunge bath and shower bath may also bo supplied with it, and it can be adapted .for house-heating also. For the washing and scalding of dairying utensils there is flaid to bo nothing better, and the "Challenge" has boon installed by both dairying companies and dairymen everywhere. This all spells marvellous comfort and convenience to the farmer and his family, who may now enjoy—and that at less cost—the health and happiness engendered in a home having the high-pressure water supply system. It should be explained that tho hot-water supply from the "Challenge" can be led to any part of the house, and ornamental niakel taps affixed thereto. And it. should be understood also that the entire system of the "Challenge" is so simple that there is really nothing to go out. of orjder. In fact, the whole device has bceD thought out and perfected with a view to bringing the comforts of the city wi.thin the reach of the country dweller—and the fact has not been lost sight of that tlioso using tho "Challenge" are generally miles out of reach of a plumber. Oiicc the "Challenge" has been installed, however, there is no further need for phrmbers— it never gow out of order.—Advt.
