KERENSKY RETURNING WITH INCREASING FOLLOWING
LENIN'S AMAZING PEACE PROPOSALS
ITALIANS SHOWING FIGHT ■
ENEMY PRESSED BACK
The outlook to-day as regards Russia and Italy is much brighter. According to the various dispatches, Kerensky haß reasserted his authority, and is noit marching on Petrograd with a large following. The Bolshevik regime, it is stated, is only ti matter of days, or hours. The earlier dispatches state that Lenin was to be Premier of the proletariat Government, with Trotsky as his To reign Minister, and Maximalists making up the remainder. An extraordinary manifesto issued by this misguided group invited the belligerents to declare a three months' armistice for the purpose of discussing peace. The'manifesto further declared that all secret treaties were to be published, and all peace negotia- • tions conducted in the broad light of day. Signs of a recovery are discernible in the Italian dispatches. The Germans have received a check in the Trontino, and at other points havo been ousted from positions.
