made 24 and 58 (Bolt 2!)). The bowling was much batter than tho batting. Freeman (five for 8), Bramley (five for 6, and two for 23)) and Dairyraple (five for 13, and two for 21) shared the wickets for Thorndon, while Turvey (seven for 11) did woll for St. Cuthbert's. Bowling for Institute C, Ferris performed the hat trick, and almost repeated the performance by taking three wickets with four balls. Boys' Institute won by an innings and 28 runs. Third Grade. Boys' Institute Old Boys A Team won by defaulHrom South. Boys' Institute Old Boys' Team, 77 (A. i Beale 21) v. Wellington College A Team, 211 (Millard 88 not' out, Taylor 71, Bray 42). College won by 169 runs.
