• MODIFIED TRAINING SCHEME. The details of the modified scheme of ; training for members of the Territorial "l'orca and Senior Cadets have been announced. The compulsory training system "-is to be maintained during the remaining period ol> the war, but as recently by the Minister of Defence, 'the demands mado upon the time of tho ?men are'to be reduced, particularly in the jißuntry districts, where the shortage of -labour has been pronounced. 'Iff the country areas, as defined by 'District Headquarters, the training is to -BtP feduced to seven days' training in _'<Saifi;p annually.
