FIRE AT HOKITIKA
By Telegraph.—Press Association. I Hokitika, November 9. A. fire wa3 discovered at 9.30 o'clock lait. night in the Masonic Hotel. It had a big hold 'when discovered, but the brigade, aided by a fine water supply, made a brilliant save; The upper story was gutted. The insurance is ,£7OO in tho South British Ofiice on the building. There is nothing on the stock or furniture, and the proprietor, W. Stewart, sufl'ers a considerable loss.
