Tlie entries totalled 1424, compared with 1690 iiast'year, and 1909 two years Ago. The .falling-off;is chiefly accounted for by the 'drop in the sheep classes. The following • championships were awarded:— Merino ram (five combing). J. Steven- <- son; ewe, Sir George Clifford. Merino ram (strong combing), J.
