Mr. M. J. Kilgour presided at tlifi fortnightly meeting of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Cederholm, 1?. Oakcs, Phelps, Wilson and Co., Equitable Building Society, and Rev. H. Watson, ss, each; Mesdames M. Kendall, Sivcrton, Messrs. C. Stuart, Jnies, A.G.G., W.G.G., J. E. Cimliffe, and R. Wilson, 2s. Gd. each, and Mr. Nordcll, 25.; total, ,£ll 15s. Por the future the society will hold its meetings monthly instead of fortnightly.
