PRESBYTERIAN MISSIONARY i KILLED. (Kcc. November 5, 10 p.m.) . i Brisbane, November' 5. : A general rising of tho natives lias occurred at Mornington Island, in tne Gulf of Carpentaria. It is reported that ■ tho Presbyterian mission was besieged ■ for ten days. The Rev. Robert Hall was - shot dead. His assistant, Welter Owens, i was wounded, but escaped m the mission , boat with the wives and children, untt i reached Burkotown.-Prcss Assn.
