MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. S. F,. M'Oarthy, 8.M.,. presided over a short silting of the Magistrates Court on Saturday morning. Thomas Troy was sentenced to three months' hard labour for the latest of many lapses from sobriety. Thomas Long Dwyer was fined £3 for being: found in a state ot helpless drunkenness. The alternative to payment of the fine was fixed at a week s imprisonTrtiiur Charles Dubowry Collins, charged with being a rogue and a vagabond, was remanded till Wednesday next. A charge of stealing a number of bottles of lifluor was preferred against Halpn Williams. Accused was remanded on bail to appear on November 6. John Alexander I>arkin, charged also with theft of liquor, was remanded on bail til! November 14.
