WOOL STOREMEN

NEW WAGES AGREEMENT. A flew agreement has been entered into between the wool and grain, merchants and the members of tho Storeinoji's Union employed in stores handling wool, grain, hemp, skins, manures, and tallow. The agreement, which is to remain in force for twelve months from October 20, makes provision for the following wages:—Casuals, Is. 5Jd. and a war bonus of lid. an hour; -weekly hands, £i and a war'bonus of ss. fid. For handling manures, 2d. an hour extra is to be paid. Ilours are fixed at, ii per week.
