Sir,—"Unitarian" states that-the reaK explanation of tho small number of members of his Church who have enlisted is; that tho majority are ©lderjy or middleaged people. Might I oak him if the explanation of Sir James Allen's statement that tho Unitarians wished to claim 110 exemption for their ministers is that tlicso also are over military age? The Minister of Defence stated that ha admired such a combatant Church. I presumo ho has been informed that, though proportionally thoy have Bent to the front almost fewer than any Church, yet if they wero but younger they would flock to the fighting lina with their ministers in the vanguard, and hence his admiration for them.— I am, etc., • INQUIRER.
