ENEMY EXPELLED FROM MAHENGE (Rec. November 2, 0.45 a.m.) London, October 31. An official dispatch from IJast Africa 6tates that the Germans have been expelled from ftie Mahenge district towards flie Euwegu River. Thoy abandoned two guns. General Nbrtheys troops have occupied Liwale. The enemy's losses in the recent fighting at Nyangao, apart from wjnnded, are estimated at 53 Europeans. and 2CB Askaris killed, and 241 (Europeans and 677 Askaris taken prisoner. —Aus.-N.Z.
