The Austrian Reichsrath's official re- ' porter, in a gloomy , description of Austria's financial situation, says:—"England alone among the belligerents is able to pay the interest on her war loans and furnish considerable sums for current war necessities. Tim German finances are in an unfavourable condition. The increased German revenue from the new taxes totalled one million marks, while tho war loan interest amounted to. three milliards. It is anticiapted that Austria will long suffer after the war from a, very low rate of exchange. The Austrian Premier has announced that Austria is still read;r to eifc at the peace-table if her enemies l are ready to create a foundation for cq|ual inter-State relations.—Eeuter.
